The couch covers are stetchy and the fabric is stretchy and soft however there isnt enough stetch in it. The instructions are very vague and doesnt really instruct on how to put them on properly. Material is washable. While stretchy i would not recommend for an oversized 5 seat couch as there isnt alot of play in the material.
