Looking on line does not reflect the material used to make the items. However, I took a chance and purchased the sleepwear. The material is light silk, but is very comfortable to the body. It sleep well. Slip on without a hitch. On the other hand, I do not have a problem to purchase this item again, you get two for the price of one (affordable). You can order the size you normally wear, I prefer roomy sleepwear, not tight fitting.
