I was a bit weary after reading a few of the other reviews… but Run don't walk… RUN and buy this. It's amazing quality for the price. The front cover does have the “on and off feature”, the back cover is more soft and flexible and not as hard. That may be an issue for some but it's ok for me. I'm just careful of picking up the tablet by the “hard case at certain points because it may cause it to start to come off. The color is cute and the finish is great! It's just exactly what I was looking for. Btw I have a 12.9 4th gen tab

Probably a better shock cover if dropped.

Most iPad covers that I've purchased previously have a firmer backing. This iPad cover is softer with extra support or shock at the bottom. The cover fits fine. Not sure about the shock protection as I'm not going to test my iPad, but let's hope it helps if I ever accidentally drop it. Cover seems fine for the price. The service was excellent, as it was shipped immediately with a follow up email. Thanks
