Me and my boys do a lot of fishing, hiking, and kayaking with our on and off the water explorations, and this vest was an immediate hit with my soon to be 5 year old. He loves to fish, and I get a bit overwhelmed trying to carry everything he insists on bringing along, and that's not counting the stuff he finds along the way. Now he carries his own gear and has pockets to fit all of his little finds (rocks, sticks, and anything cool looking). The vest fits my 8 year old just as comfortably, as it's easily adjustable and has an extra strap to hold it on beneath the main zip. This has instantly made my life easier and our adventures a bit less chaotic, in other words it has been a huge win in my opinion. Pretty solid vest overall, with zipper and velcro pockets galore, it's doing its job to perfection. We'll see how it holds up in the long run, but from what I've seen so far, a very good get for my boys (and vicariously for me). Much appreciated!
