Heavy duty sweatshirt

This item is very excellent quality but I would consider it a very heavy sweatshirt and the material that it's made from would pick up lots of dirt fibers and I would think. I was under the impression that it was more like a canvas versus a sweatshirt nylon/le/polyester shell and will not work for what I need it for. Walmart was really helpful with the return.
