Fairly easy to assemble, but came in a box that smelled like polypropylene, took a month of the chair sitting assembled in the garage before the smell finally went away. It's a nice chair, but it's definitely made for smaller people. As a 6ft 250lb man, it's not the most comfortable, but I could see my granny liking it.

It's a little bit hard to assemble. The instructions are lacking clarity. Once it was together, it turned out to be a much nicer chair than I was expecting. It's nice looking the one downside is that you can't put the foot rest up without reclining the back there is no sitting there putting your foot feet up clarity.
