Finally Got Android Auto to work

I bought the Carlinkit 4.0 for my 2019 Toyota RAV4, and honestly, I'm impressed with how well it works. My RAV4 only supports Apple CarPlay from the factory, so I was looking for a way to use Android Auto without replacing the head unit or doing any complicated mods. This solved the problem perfectly. Setup was simple and pretty much plug-and-play. Once paired, it automatically connects every time I start the car. Android Auto runs surprisingly smooth, maps and music work great, and I love not needing to plug my phone in anymore. The biggest reason I bought it was specifically to enable Android Auto on a CarPlay-only Toyota system, and it actually delivers on that. A lot of people with older Toyota models seem to use this exact workaround successfully as well.

Genius Device

Since our van comes natively with Apple Carplay, this saved us hundreds of dollars to also get Android Auto in our van. On one occasion, all the call audio sounded garbled, but all it took to fix the problem was to unplug the CarlinKit and plug it back in; very minimal issue. It was very easy to install, and it works great. I highly recommend it!
