Eggs are way to expensive and I don't think they will going down in price by the time Easter comes around. I bought these to try before Easter to see how the decorating worked. Kids LOVED coloring on the eggs making patterns and writing their name. This was also easier than really eggs since I didn't have to tell them 100 times to be careful so they don't crack the eggs. The price point is GREAT as well.
