Some customers might rate this fabric as very thin, however to me that is an advantage as I work outside in the sun and heat. The white color, lightweight fabric, and long sleeves protect from the sun's harmful rays, and when there is a cool breeze the fabric lets it come right through to your skin. These shirts dry fairly quickly compared to typical cotton shirts. The sizing seemed to run a bit large, but after a washing in cold water the fit is true to size (2XL for me at 6' 230%23). I would not wash these shirts in hot water, nor place in dryer for fear of too much shrinkage. I hang dry all my shirts.
