Tastes great and terrific nutrition.

Our family loves the Barilla protein line of pastas, as they don't taste "healthy". We have found that problem with some of the other pasta variations such as red lentil and bean pasta. These taste just like regular white pasta. It has great protein and fiber too. The kids love the bowtie shape, and it's hard to find in stores, so we are glad we can buy it here.

A healthier alternative to standard.

Now yes, it's only 3 grams of protein more. But, it has 3 grams more fiber, less sodium, and slightly lower glycemic index compared to the standard version. And by taste, you would never know. So, if you're looking to add some fiber and a little boost of protein to your pasta, this is the choice. I do wish it was 16oz instead of 14.5 but life moves on.

Better than the other brand of protein pasta

I like this Barilla protein pasta much better than the Banza brand. The other brand uses only chickpeas, and the pasta gets very mushy and loses its shape completely if you cook it, and then want to eat it the next day or freeze it for another time. This brand holds up very well and keeps it shape. No one has noticed the difference in taste or texture from regular pasta.
