Although this rug does offer the floor grip noted on the product's listing, I think this is a cheaper, lower quality version of a mat I have previously purchased from Amazon. Having purchased the same size on Amazon, with essentially the same listing picture and comparable price, I was expecting this to be of the same quality a low pile, soft plush bath mat with a woven perimeter and white woven grippy backing. This mat, however, was very different than the Amazon version. It was essentially the same print, but printed onto a very thin (albeit soft) piece of fabric, glued to a black foam mat. I intended to use it for my bathroom, so having it be absorbent, quick-drying, and machine washable is very important. From experience, this kind of black foam harbors bacteria and is very poor at drying. I also have lot of doubts about this mat being able to hold up over time, with multiple machine washes, considering the thin fabric is just glued to the top of the mat. I had much higher hopes that this rug would work for my bathroom, but I ended up returning and purchasing the much nicer Amazon one.
