Fortunately, this one was plastic , but still had none or very little packaging materials, the 2 previous boxes were glass, 1st one was glass IN A LARGE ENVELOPE, glass ramikans, C'mon Man! take some pride in your job! I moved into my apartment and barely had any dishes so this plastic tumbler is a good addition, has decorative stripes and is perfect size holds enough liquid. I'm happy with it and I'd recommend it if you can get one, it's more summery but still works well.
