There were no instructions in the box, but it was easy enough for me to figure out quickly. I placed the seat on my couch before assembly and it felt great for by big and tall stature. The color is pretty dark for teal, but it still works for my color scheme. After assembly I glided the chair across the carpet of my room and to my surprise there was no resistance. The price was a bit high, yet I like the comfort.
