Warnings. Do not use. For children under 12 years of age. If you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have. Persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Cough accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus). When using this product. Very Effective
This product really does work. I was suffering from a horrible sinus infection and towards the tail end of being ill I was constantly coughing. I took one tablet after dinner and woke up with a much more productive cough that cleared my chest congestion. I liked that the tablet had a slow release and I only needed to take one pill every 12 hours. I took one more pill the next day and found I had really reduced the congestion in my chest. I would recommend this strength if you are really having severe chest congestion or have a nagging cough that just won't go away.

Maximum strength - you can take fewer pills
Mucinex is a great product for my coughs and colds. It loosens up the constriction in my chest and it doesn't hurt when I cough. This is the maximum strength version so you can take just one of these for 12 hours. Sometimes I only need 1 regular strength tablet but for the times when I would need to take 2, 1 tablet of the Maximum strength version is a better buy.

Works fast
Mucinex DM Max quickly broke up the mucus/chest congestion that I was having at night and in the mornings. It breaks it up so you can get it out and feel better. My husband had been sick also and was coughing a lot and was feeling much better shortly after taking Mucinex DM Max. It broke up the mucus and once he got that out his cough calmed down quite a bit as well.
