Attractive office solution

My landlord had just installed nice tile flooring in my apartment when I moved in, and insisted I use a mat under my office chair; she provided a clear plastic mat with teeth that was probably intended for use on carpeting. It made a clicking sound when my cats jumped down on it, and was frankly hideous. This not only is noiseless, but is attractive enough to elevate the tiny office space.
