Hi William, We are sorry to hear about your experience with the product. The W50D9P3 supports continuous drainage, which can help reduce or eliminate the need for manually emptying the bucket. The unit also features a built-in drain pump that can pump water upward. A maximum of 5-foot elevation should be suitable when the pump drain hose is properly installed and the PUMP function is activated. This can be a helpful option when a floor drain is not available. While the smart features provide optional remote control and monitoring, the unit can be operated directly from the onboard controls without connecting to Wi‑Fi.
