The red light protects your night vision or is used as a long-lasting signal light with three modes: Low, High, and Slow Flashing. Weighing only 1.34 oz, the NU20 Classic is an ultralight headlamp perfect for backpacking when every ounce matters. Yet, it still can achieve a maximum runtime of 97 hours on its lowest setting. Priced lower than most headlamps, this light is bright, secure, and easy to use. Long battery life and easy to charge. Redlight has two selections for brightness plus blinking and the White light has three, easy to select by pressing the top button multiple times. Only criticism is that it doesn't seem possible to use both the white and red lights at the same time. Simple band is perfect for running. I might want a more comfortable larger band for a long hike or walk.
