Azumaya Firm Tofu, 16 oz

Tofu is famous for taking whatever flavor you add to it, so that trait is left open on review. I only use a small amount for each recipe, so what I do is cut the tofu into squares and then freeze what I am not going to use right away. The squares are maybe 2x2 by a half inch, and I may use one or two per batch of whatever I cook up. That's just a tip if you are wondering what to do with a whole pound of tofu - the answer is, that you can just freeze the extra for a later date. No problema. The texture stays about the same after thawing.

I actually am getting used to tofu...fried it, used it plain in soups like miso. It adds protein to fortify. I like that. This one is mild in flavor so it's easy to enhance with spices or marinating in sauces. It's fun to experiment with new flavors!
