Great Value Jumbo Shell, 12 oz

The Jumbo shells cooked well, made according to the package directions. No sogginess or tearing. They were absolutely delicious stuffed with a ricotta and cheese mixture and topped with pasta sauce (and more cheese). Yum. Great quality at a great price.

I buy this brand of pasta shells because the value and the taste is very good. I love to make stuffeed shells pasta every once in a while, and these shells cook perfect, when I boil them they hold the shape and do not come apart. I do rinse them out in cold water to stop them getting over-cooked. Once they cool down, I stuffed them with either cheese (string cheese works good) and I also stuffed them with ground meat and top them with mozzarella cheese. They hold their shape while baking and they are delicious. No need to spend more money on other brands when this do make the dishes complete with the same taste and results.
