If you're a diabetic or are trying to be more careful with what you eat, this sour cream has more vitamins than the other version that's plain. Vitamins also are a good necessity to the body when it comes to food. You need to try to take in as much healthy nutrition as you can but still make it taste great! This is my go to when making meals.

Trying to eat a little healthier. Tried this for a homemade onion dip and it was surprisingly tasty although I could detect it wasn't full fat sour cream. Even husband who hates anything “light” or low-fat said the dip was pretty good. Will buy again.

The Great Value LIGHT sour cream is excellent. It has 50% less fat and 33% fewer calories than regular sour cream. There are times when using sour cream in recipes when the light type is perfect. You don't need the regular. AND the Great Value brand is always the best!
