Perfect for my Intex above ground pool. I already had the case and all so the refill pack was perfect. Actually the packaging isnt that bad. I threw away my old case bc this works. The pamphlet that comes with it is a bit better than my last one. Id still try to never get it wet though. It has alot of good info. Laminate if possible

Opt for the kit
I do wish that the bottles were bigger of the chemicals you have to use more of, but I guess there' an option to buy them a la carte. This kit is WAAAYYY better than test strips, even for my tiny pool. The instructions seem to be plastic coated, so I guess they took some of the other reviews to heart about that. Just in case, though, I wrapped mine in box tape to protect from the pool water while I'm testing

Although a few of the instructions are confusing (e.g. checking cya levels), this kit serves as a great savings over the pool supply store analysis, which almost always leads to recommendations for the purchase of their expensive chemicals that are obtained more cheaply elsewhere. Sometimes they charge a fee for the testing if none of their products are purchased, but I guess that's fair, yes?
