Finding the right underbust bra size can make a big difference in comfort and support. Here’s how you can get started:

• Measure your underbust: Use a soft tape measure around your ribcage, just under your bust. Make sure it’s snug but not tight.
• Check the size chart: Compare your measurement to the size chart provided on Walmart’s product pages, as sizing can vary by brand.
• Consider cup size: Your cup size is typically determined by subtracting your underbust measurement from the fullest part of your bust.

If you’re between sizes, try both to see which feels best. Walmart’s easy returns can help if you need to exchange for a better fit.

Underbust bras are designed to sit just below the bust, offering support from the band rather than relying mainly on the straps. Here’s what sets them apart:

• Support: The wide underbust band helps distribute weight evenly, which can feel more comfortable for everyday wear.
• Style variety: You’ll find options like wireless, underwire, minimizer, and bralette styles, each with unique benefits.
• Smooth silhouette: Many underbust bras are made for a seamless look under clothing, making them great for t-shirts and fitted tops.

This style is popular for those seeking comfort and a natural shape.

Some underbust bras can be suitable for low-impact activities, especially if they offer a secure fit and wide band. Here’s what to look for:

• Support level: Choose bras labeled as activewear or those with strong underbust bands for added stability.
• Fabric: Breathable, moisture-wicking materials can help keep you comfortable during movement.
• Adjustability: Straps and bands that adjust can help you customize the fit for different activities.

For high-impact workouts, consider a dedicated sports bra for maximum support. Always check the product description for intended use.

Taking care of your underbust bra helps it last longer and keeps it comfortable. Here are some tips:

• Hand wash: Gently wash in cool water with mild detergent to preserve the fabric and elasticity.
• Machine wash: If you use a machine, place bras in a lingerie bag and use a gentle cycle.
• Air dry: Lay flat or hang to dry—avoid using a dryer, as heat can damage elastic and shape.

Following these steps can help maintain the fit and feel of your bra over time.
