Choosing the right size sun gloves can make a big difference in comfort and protection. Most gloves come with a sizing chart—just measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles (excluding the thumb) and compare it to the chart. If you're between sizes, consider how you plan to use them: a snug fit is great for dexterity, while a looser fit may be more comfortable for long wear. If the gloves are unisex, check for any notes about fit for men or women. When shopping online, look for customer reviews that mention sizing tips.

Yes, many sun gloves are designed for driving and everyday activities. Look for features like non-slip grips on the palms and fingers, which help you maintain control of the steering wheel. Breathable materials keep your hands cool, while UPF-rated fabrics offer added sun protection. Some gloves even have touchscreen-compatible fingertips, so you can use your devices without taking them off. Always check the product description to see if the gloves are suitable for driving and other outdoor activities.

Most sun gloves are easy to care for, but it's best to follow the care instructions on the label. In general, you can:

• Hand wash with mild soap and cool water to preserve the fabric's stretch and sun protection.
• Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water—avoid wringing.
• Lay flat to air dry, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Machine washing may be possible for some gloves, but always check the label first to avoid damaging special coatings or materials.

Many sun gloves now feature touchscreen-compatible fingertips, making it easy to use your phone or tablet without removing your gloves. This is especially handy for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, or driving. Look for product descriptions that mention touchscreen capability or conductive fabric in the fingertips. Keep in mind that performance can vary depending on the glove's material and your device's screen sensitivity.

The main difference is coverage and dexterity. Full-finger sun gloves cover your entire hand and fingers, offering maximum sun protection and often better grip for activities like cycling or hiking. Half-finger gloves leave your fingertips exposed, which can be helpful for tasks that require more precision, like fishing or using small tools. Consider your main activity and comfort preferences when choosing between the two styles.
