The EXT port on a PS4 controller is a special connection point located at the bottom of the controller. It's designed to let you connect compatible accessories, such as charging docks, back button attachments, or extension adapters. This port can:

• Enable faster charging when used with certain charging stations
• Allow for add-ons like rear paddles or turbo attachments
• Support extension cables for more comfortable gaming setups

Always check that your accessory is designed for the EXT port to ensure safe and reliable use.

Yes, you can use the EXT port to charge your PS4 controller, but only with compatible charging docks or stations that are designed for this port.
