Choosing the right size extendable table depends on your space and how many people you want to seat. Start by measuring your dining area, leaving at least 36 inches between the table and walls or furniture for easy movement. Consider how often you'll use the extension—some tables expand for special occasions, while others are great for everyday use. If you host guests frequently, look for tables that seat more people when extended. Remember, many extendable tables are designed to fit small spaces but can open up for larger gatherings, making them versatile for different needs.

• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the surface after meals.
• Avoid harsh chemicals—mild soap and water usually do the trick.
• Dry the table thoroughly to prevent water spots or damage.
• For wood tables, consider using a furniture polish occasionally to keep the finish looking fresh.
• Pay special attention to the seams and extension mechanisms, as crumbs can collect there. A small brush or vacuum attachment can help keep these areas clean.

Most extendable tables use removable or hidden leaves to expand the surface. Some designs have leaves that store inside the table, while others require you to add them manually. To extend, you typically unlock the table, pull it apart, and insert the leaf or leaves. Always follow the instructions provided with your table for smooth operation. Taking care when adding or removing leaves can help keep the mechanism working well over time. If you’re unsure, check for online guides or reach out to Walmart’s customer support for help.

Absolutely! Extendable tables are perfect for small apartments because they save space when not in use and can expand for guests or special occasions. Many models are designed with compact footprints and clever storage features, like hidden shelves or cabinets. When choosing a table, look for one that fits your everyday needs but can grow when you need extra seating. This flexibility makes extendable tables a smart choice for maximizing your living area without sacrificing functionality.

If you need replacement parts for your extendable table, start by checking the product’s manual or packaging for manufacturer contact information. Walmart’s online customer service can also help you locate compatible parts or direct you to the right resources. It’s a good idea to keep your table’s model number handy when reaching out. While not all parts are available through Walmart, many extension mechanisms and leaves can be ordered separately, depending on the table’s design.
