Choosing the right size cake box with a window depends on the size and shape of your baked goods. Here are a few tips:

• Measure your cake or treats before shopping to ensure a comfortable fit, allowing a little extra space for decorations or toppers.
• Consider the height for tiered or tall cakes—many boxes come in various heights to accommodate layers.
• Think about transport; a snug fit helps prevent shifting during travel.

Checking product dimensions on the Walmart site can help you find the best match for your needs.

Cake boxes with windows are designed to offer both visibility and support for your baked goods. Most feature reinforced sides and bottoms to help keep cakes secure during transport. For heavier or multi-layer cakes, look for boxes that mention added durability or include cake boards for extra stability. While these boxes are suitable for most occasions, handling them with care and keeping them level during transport can further protect your creations.

Many cake boxes with windows are intended for single use, especially those made from cardboard or kraft paper. However, if the box remains clean and undamaged after use, you might be able to reuse it for storing non-food items or for gifting. For food safety, it's best to use a new box each time you package baked goods, as moisture or crumbs can affect the box's integrity and cleanliness.

Smaller bakery boxes with windows are perfect for a variety of treats. You can use them for cookies, cupcakes, brownies, macarons, chocolate-covered strawberries, or mini cakes. The window lets you showcase your creations, making them great for gifts or party favors. Always check the box dimensions to ensure your treats fit comfortably without being squished or overcrowded.

Assembling a cake box with a window is usually straightforward. Here’s a general guide:

1. Unfold the box and lay it flat.
2. Fold along the pre-scored lines to shape the sides and bottom.
3. Secure the tabs into the slots to lock the box in place.
4. Gently press the window area to make sure it sits flat.

Instructions may vary slightly by design, so it’s helpful to check for any included directions or diagrams inside the package.
