Choosing the right baking stick size depends on what you're making. For cake pops or lollipops, shorter sticks (around 4-6 inches) work well for easy handling. If you're making larger treats like cookie pops or kabobs, consider longer sticks (8 inches or more) for better support.

• Check your recipe for size suggestions.
• Think about the treat's weight and thickness.
• Make sure the stick fits comfortably in your hand for serving or decorating.

Walmart offers a variety of sizes, so you can find the best fit for your baking project.

Many baking sticks are designed to withstand baking temperatures, but it's important to check the packaging for oven-safe labels.

• Paper and wooden sticks are often safe for brief baking times at moderate heat.
• Plastic sticks are usually not oven-safe and may warp or melt.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe use. If you're unsure, use the sticks for decorating or serving after baking to avoid any issues.

Reusable baking sticks are available, especially those made from plastic or acrylic.

• Wash them thoroughly with warm, soapy water after each use.
• Inspect for any cracks or damage before reusing.

Wooden and paper sticks are generally intended for single use, as they can absorb moisture and may weaken. For eco-friendly options, look for reusable sticks that are specifically labeled as dishwasher-safe or reusable on Walmart's site.

Decorating treats with sticks is a fun way to add flair to your desserts.

• Insert the stick gently into your treat before decorating to ensure it stays secure.
• Dip treats in melted chocolate or candy coating, then add sprinkles or edible decorations while the coating is still wet.
• Let treats dry upright by placing the sticks in a foam block or stand.

This method helps keep your decorations neat and makes serving easy for parties or events.

To keep baking sticks clean and ready for your next project, store them in a cool, dry place.

• Keep sticks in their original packaging or a sealed container to prevent dust and moisture.
• Avoid storing near heat sources or in humid areas, as this can cause warping or weakening, especially for wooden and paper sticks.

Proper storage helps ensure your baking sticks stay sturdy and safe for future use.
