Mob Armor(13)

Both styles can work well—it really comes down to how you like to use your phone and what case you have.

• Magnetic mounts: Quick, one-handed attachment. Typically use a thin metal plate on your phone or case. Plate placement may affect some wireless chargers, so positioning and case thickness matter.
• Clamp mounts: No metal plate needed. Adjustable arms hold different phone sizes and thicker cases. They can be a bit bulkier but offer a secure, universal grip.

Also consider the base type (adhesive, suction, or clamp) and where you plan to place it. Reviewing the product details on each item’s page can help you match your device size, case type, and preferred mounting surface.

A careful setup can help an adhesive base hold more reliably over time.

1. Pick a spot: Choose a smooth, flat area that won’t block your view or controls.
2. Clean the surface: Remove dust and oils, then let it dry completely.
3. Test the orientation: Dry-fit the mount to confirm reach and angle.
4. Apply and press: Peel the liner, position carefully, and press firmly for 30–60 seconds.
5. Let it set: Avoid loading the mount for a period so the adhesive can bond. Waiting several hours or overnight can be helpful.

On textured or soft-touch surfaces, a separate mounting disc can create a smoother base. For best results, follow the included instructions on the specific product page.

Look for a tablet-specific mount designed to support larger screens and added weight.

• Choose a tablet-ready model: Product pages labeled for tablets generally include stronger magnets or larger clamps and bases.
• Confirm compatibility: Check the listed device size range and any plate requirements if it’s a magnetic style.
• Pick the right base: Adhesive bases are more permanent; suction and clamp bases are more flexible for repositioning.
• Plan placement: Use a stable, clean surface and keep the device clear of airbags, vents, and sightlines.

Review the specifications on the item’s page to match your tablet’s dimensions and intended mounting surface. Pickup and delivery options are usually available at checkout for added convenience.

Swapping setups can be simple with the right accessories and base style.

• Removable bases: Suction-cup or clamp bases can be taken off and reinstalled as needed, making them handy for shared vehicles.
• Multiple spots: Extra mounting discs can create additional smooth surfaces in different cars or locations.
• Extra plates: If you use a magnetic style, placing plates on each device or case helps you move the phone between vehicles quickly.
• Clean and reattach: Wipe surfaces and the base before re-mounting to maintain grip.

Adhesive bases are more semi-permanent, so plan those for long-term locations. You can find accessories like discs and plates on the same brand page for easy setup across multiple cars.

A clean, dust-free setup is key to a smooth install.

1. Confirm fit: Choose the protector designed for your exact phone model.
2. Power down: Wash your hands, then clean the screen thoroughly and dry it.
3. Align carefully: Use any guide tabs or tools included to line up edges and cutouts.
4. Apply slowly: Set the top edge, then lower the protector while pressing from the center outward.
5. Remove bubbles: Use a card or cloth to push air to the edges. If dust gets trapped, lift gently and use a dust sticker or tape.

Installing in a low-dust room can help. Allow the edges to settle before putting your case back on.
