Devcon(136)

Devcon epoxy is a type of two-part adhesive known for its strong bonding capabilities. It typically comes as a resin and a hardener that you mix together before applying. Once combined, the mixture forms a durable bond that can be used on materials like metal, plastic, wood, and ceramics. Devcon epoxies are popular for home repairs, DIY projects, and even some industrial uses. They come in different formulas and setting times, so you can choose one that fits your project needs. Always follow the instructions for best results and safety.

• Home repairs: Fix broken items like furniture, tools, or household fixtures.
• Craft projects: Bond materials such as glass, ceramics, or plastics for creative projects.
• Automotive fixes: Patch small cracks or fill gaps in car parts.
• Plumbing: Seal leaks in pipes or fittings (check product compatibility first).

Devcon products are versatile, but always check the label to make sure the epoxy is suitable for your specific material and application. Proper surface preparation and mixing are key for a strong bond.

Devcon epoxy products are manufactured by a company called ITW (Illinois Tool Works). While Walmart offers a variety of Devcon adhesives and fillers, ITW is the company behind the brand. If you need more details about the manufacturer or product specifications, you can usually find this information on the packaging or the manufacturer's website. Walmart provides these products for convenient shopping, but does not produce them directly.

1. Identify your materials: Check if you're bonding metal, plastic, wood, or another surface.
2. Consider working time: Some epoxies set in minutes, while others allow more time for adjustments.
3. Strength needed: Choose a formula based on how much weight or stress the bond will handle.
4. Application method: Look for syringes, tubes, or bottles depending on your project size.

Reading the product descriptions and instructions can help you match the right Devcon epoxy to your task. If you're unsure, Walmart's customer service can help guide your choice.

To keep your Devcon epoxy usable for future projects, store the resin and hardener in their original, tightly sealed containers. Place them in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets. Avoid mixing the two parts until you're ready to use them, as they will start to cure once combined. Proper storage can help extend the shelf life, but always check for any changes in texture or color before using leftover product.
