The eyeliner comes in a non-adjustable barrel (so you cannot twist the eyeliner back down; it only dispenses out). One thing to note is that this eyeliner is very pigmented, so not a lot of pressure is needed! The less pressure you apply, the longer the pencil lasts. Once the eyeliner sets, it sets! I do not find that this smears or flakes on me. The eyeliner itself remains comfortable, even after wearing it for hours, which is something that I don't find with other liners. I would recommend trying this liner out, but maybe wait for a coupon or a sale to get a break on the price.
