Always a quick dessert to keep on hand

Been buying this pound cake for decades. I keep one in the freezer at all times, for quick snacks and desserts. When thawed I slice it and top it with various fruits (either fresh or frozen) and then whipped cream or sweetened half and half. Wonderful, especially in the summer!

Makes a Yummy Dessert!

I like to keep a frozen Sara Lee pound cake, a tub of frozen Great Value sliced strawberries with sugar, and a tub of Great Value whipped topping in my freezer for a special treat. A little ahead of when you want to serve it, just slice the cake long ways into three layers and "stuff" with the thawed strawberries and whipped topping and store in the 'fridge to enjoy!
