To people unhappy that this does not secure to the car itself, high backed (convertible) boosters are NOT SUPPOSED TO. These are a transition seat meant to be used with the cars seat belt. This seat is well designed and easy to put together. The cover went on easily. The kids like them, especially the secret drawer:)
