Very nice material as far as the “feel” of it goes. Slightly larger than a typical 9-12m (the size I ordered) but nothing wrong with that considering other clothes will be worn underneath it. I washed this item upon receiving it and when I got it out of the washer the inner lining seams were all coming apart. Didn't even get to wear this jacket and it was trash after one wash. The liner seems to be able to be cut out but what's the point? The outer part of the jacket and buttons held up great but the seams of the inner liner came completely apart and were frayed. This was also washed with regular hypoallergenic baby detergent and on a delicate wash/small load. Really hated this happened because I loved this jacket, was perfect for rainy days and cool fall weather. The outer material is a thin and soft jean like texture.
