I waited 8 days since I received the ebike and put 11.8 miles on the bike before writing this review. First the looks and design is very nice better looking then the pictures. But after a week and 11.8 miles since I have had the bike and There is are some real concerns about different things that I will explain. 1. the the bike is equipped with cable dics brakes. They are horrible! I almost got hit a couple times because the mechanical disc brakes do NOT stop the bike in a responsible amount of time or distance! 2. I only used 1 bar of power so far but I but the battery on the charger because I planned on a little longer run than I normally do and it took almost 4 hours to charge the battery to full only being 1 bar down! 3. The overall bike is pretty strong and seems like it would put up with someone using it as an everyday ride but with only putting 11.8 miles on the bike you can definitely tell where the manufacturer cut some corners on strength and durability. Under the battery is a little box thing where the controller is and the main part of the pedal crank is attack to that box a little bit and today I noticed where the pedal crank is going into the box there is also wires going into the box and there is a very cheap plastic cap covering the whole where the wires go into the box and it was halfway off! Not good if any water gets in the box where the controller and all the main electrical parts are it will destroy the whole electrical system and controller! That's very very disappointing that now I am going to have to check that cheap plastic cap before and after each ride!! 4. The bike has good power and gets up to about 25.8 mph but going up any type of incline even as small as 5 to 8-9 degrees the bike dramatically slows down and struggles to go up the incline. Now the best thing about the bike is the large capacity battery and the distance you can go on a single charger but the bad definitely outweighs the ways the good. To day after charging the bike from only 1 bar down and for the first time I connected the battery back on the bike and turn the bike on because I was gonna go for a little ride and when I hit the power button to turn the bike on the bikes electric horn started to go off! I have no idea what that's about yet!!! Only 11.8 miles 1 bar down charge and it looks like the bike is having or developing an electrical problem. I am not an electrical person or an ebike specialist but it doesn't take someone skilled in those dates to no that when you hit the power button to turn on the bike the horn should not go off completely by it's self. The horn button is on the other side of the handlebars so I know I didn't accidentally hit the horn button. Buyer beware great price great battery so far but a lot of cheap parts and now looking like I might have a electrical problem Good luck everyone Sorry there is 12.7 miles on it.
