My son is 6'2" tall, 230 lbs. He wears L in tops. I ordered a L and an XL. The XL sleeve length was better and the fit around hips with 34" waist was spot on. Great jacket! Very warm and cozy. I wore mine on a walk in low 40's (F) temperatures with just a tee shirt underneath it and I was sweating in it! It's a little big and bulky but that's kind of a comforting feature on a winter coat when it's really cold outside.
