I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. The directions were simple and clearly explained, with all the tools you needed included in the kit. The design is simple but, quite sleek and esthetically pleasing.

A great bed for my son!! Need to add 2 things.....

This bed is very nice! It looks just like the picture on the box! I bought these for my 9 year old son and 12 year old son (who is 6"1!). This bed works for both of them! I like the wood accents and materials are very sturdy. USB plugs are in a good position and great for a small USB clock and chargers. Add on Suggestions: My only possible complaint is that the feet of the bed need felt pads added to avoid scratching floors. I ended up buying a rug to fit under the beds so that works as well. To protect the support rails from focused stress (like a 9 year old jumping on his and his bro's bed), I bought Bunkie boards to place under the mattresses.
