Flex Seal Liquid is liquid rubber, in a can! Unlike traditional paints, Flex Seal Liquid starts out as a thick liquid, that can seep into cracks and holes to form a flexible, waterproof, weatherproof rubberized seal. Easy to use, you can brush on, roll, dip or pour to stop leaks fast. Flex Seal Liquid can be used for a variety of coating and sealant applications. Use anywhere you need a watertight, flexible rubberized coating. Flex Seal Liquid goes on smooth and covers fast, sealing out water, air and moisture. I bought this to seal a leaky bay window that went down to the floor. I only used one coat and worked beautifully. The only negative I'd say about it, is the price. BASEMENT WALL LEAK
WE HAVE HAD A LEAK IN THE BASEMENT WALL, WHERE THE WELL PUMP PIPING AND WIRING CAME THROUGH THE WALL, FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I HAVE TRIED A VARIETY OF REMEDIES TO FIX THE LEAK OVER THE YEARS AND ALL HAVE FAILED. I SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR 'FLEX SEAL' AND ORDERED 2-16 OUNCE CONTAINERS OF 'FLEX SEAL LQD WHITE'. FOLLOWING THE CAN DIRECTIONS FOR WALL PREP I PAINTED A COATING OF 'FLEX SEAL', AROUND THE PIPE AND THE WIRES COMING THROUGH THE WALL. LET DRY FOR 48 HOURS AND PAINTED A SECOND COAT. SINCE THEN WE HAVE HAD TWO HEAVY RAINS WHICH WOULD HAVE CAUSED LEAKS AROUND THE PIPE AND WIRES AND THE 'FLEX SEAL' HAS STOPPED THE LEAK COMPLETELY. I STILL HAVE A CAN AND A HALF LEFT FOR OTHER PROJECTS.

Great Product
I used this product on the inside of weightlifting collars to give them a slightly smaller diameter and a little more grip on the bar. It worked great although it is just a little bit thin to brush onto sloped surfaces. It tends to sag, droop, run etc. mostly by it's own weight I'm sure. that said I am so impressed that this is liquid rubber that drys tough and is actually white! I have some window problem and I plan to brush Flex Seal on the really bad spots to keep water out while I search for a fix. It would make a great sound deadening or sealing layer between surfaces etc. This is a dream come true.
