Stylish but thin rug

This rug is pretty and stylish. It has tiny pops of blue and brown that work nicely with the greys to create an overall neutral color pallete with a geometric pattern. For a room with a coastal vibe, it offers you a lot of opportunties to pull in different creams, greys and blues for pillows and accents, creating an upscale look. That being said, it's thin and moves alot. It's also a bit scratchy and the tassels are a light cream color that won't wear well. The bunching fabric and tassels gave it a messier look than I wanted. If you have little ones, this may not be the rug for you. You definetly need a rug pad, but pick out something that will work under the thin material. We ended up returning it for a more family-friendly rug, but it could be nice in the right house!
