I love these packs as so versatile. I brown onions, garlic and chicken . Add rice pack with some chicken stock and veggie of your choice and got a great meal. Haven't tried the Spanish rice but think it would be good with hamburger. I add all kinds of stuff like apple cubes cooked with the onions. Throw in shrimp too. It is not like regular rice; is more like grain texture. We love it...
