Rothco Enhanced Nylon MA-1 Flight Jacket

I think this is a nice jacket overall. Unfortunately I had to send it back because of weak snaps on the outside pockets. They were barely functional at all. Yeah. It was a bummer. That was the deal breaker. The snaps on both inside pockets were good. I may very well reorder this jacket in the future and try my luck again. The large size jacket was a good fit for me. 6' - 200lbs. Nice sage green color. This is a short jacket by design. Maybe not so good to wear a hoodie inside of because of length issues. It also has Tiny TINY pockets. Good thing there are 5 of them. Another thing that immediately occurred to me when I put this jacket on was the positioning of the pocket on the left sleeve. It wasn't on the side of the arm as I expected. It was situated in a way that it was facing forward on the sleeve. My first thought was that they did this just to show off the Rothco tag that is sewn onto the back edge of this pocket. Who knows ? I could be wrong about why the pocket was positioned in this manner. I don't know what the original issue MA-1 was like. I have 2 other MA-1 replicas that are made by another company. On those jackets the arm pockets are on the side. I could have lived with everything about this jacket. I think it really is a nice jacket over all. The weak snaps were the deal breaker for me.
