Improves swimmer comfort by preventing dry, itchy skin and red burning eyes. Unbalanced water can cause a corrosive environment that can damage your pool surfaces or equipment. Use as needed to achieve a range of 7.2 to 7.6 to keep your water swim-ready and clear. For use in traditional chlorine and salt chlorine pools.

Squeeze at arrows & unscrew. Reclose tightly. Test & Balance: Test pH weekly and maintain pH between 7.2-7.6. Test Total Alkalinity before using this product. Visit cloroxpool.com for free water analysis & personalized product and dosage recommendations. Test water before using this product. Broadcast in the deepest area while pool is not in use and pump is running. pH Down Dosages: pH 7.2-7.6 (Ideal): pH 7.7-7.8 Level: Add 6 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH 7.9-8.0 Level: Add 12 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH 8.1-8.4 Level: Add 20 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH Above 8.4 Level: Add 24 oz per 10,000 gallons. Dosage: Never add more than 2.5 lb of this product per 10,000 gallons at one time. Pre-dissolving may be required to avoid pool surface discoloration. If the pH is above 7.6 then add this product to bring down the pH to an acceptable range using the dosage chart above. For Best Results: Allow the pool to circulate for two hours then retest pH. Add more product if needed. Brush any undissolved clumps off surface of pool to avoid surface damage. Re-Entry: Test water and enter when the pH reaches ideal 7.2-7.6 range. Storage and Disposal: Keep this product dry in original tightly sealed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not reuse container. Rinse empty container thoroughly before discarding in trash or recycling.

It's a chemical . Kinda hard to screw that up. Not sure how other people are having problems with it. I suppose it's possible there was a bad batch. Only gripe is it only gives dosage amount based on 10000 gal increments. I have a 350 gal spa.

Awesome product!
Clorox's pool and spa pH down is a great product. It is easy to use along with the Clorox Smart Strips and Clorox app at getting the right amount of pH down to help lower the pH levels. The product dissolves quickly and helped to lower my pools pH levels. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
