Very flavorful

I received the McCormick Gourmet Mediterranean Saffron for free in exchange for my review. The saffron was incredible flavorful. I made my favorite saffron rice recipe, and it was very robust and colorful. I typically buy saffron as a splurge, or on a special occasion. I typically buy whatever is cheapest (I know that's a funny thing to say about saffron). The McCormick might be my new go-to. I will absolutely buy it again.

Saffron

This is my first time cooking with Saffron. It amazed me how it turns the sauce yellow. I found a simple recipe for creamy saffron pasta. It was super easy to make. It looked amazing. I only used a very a small amount of Saffron, the flavor is very distinct, personally I am not a big fan of it, but at least now I know what it taste like.

Very good and fresh

I often use Saffron to cook different dishes. Whether it is classic paella or sprinkling some in white rice to give it extra flavor. This product is packaged in a way that keeps the saffron fresh. There is also a good amount when it comes to saffron. In the past I've purchased saffron that came in a small envelope in a glass bottle and it was not as fresh or as much quantity.
