TMS Avery Adjustable-Height Bar Stool, Multiple Colors, Set of 3

We purchased these stools thinking that for the price if they only lasted a year, we would be happy. However, they assembled easily and are very sturdy. The stools height of 24 inches was to low but 29 inches was to high. My crafty husband cut the extender down to 2 inches bringing the stool height to 26 inches and they are perfect. These stools look great and we will probably have them for several years. They are a great value.

I have priced several barstools and I jumped at these for this price. I got the box and it was mangled and there was no instructions, they may have fallen out of the box during shipping since it there was only one piece of tape holding it closed, even though the box looked like it was exploding from the pressure inside of it. There were only two size screws so I could figure it out even without them and they were tight to assemble but not as aggravating or hard as some of the other reviewers stated, I must have a higher IQ I guess lol. They may have a little wobble but if you level them on the surface you are putting them together on it is not bad. They are not loose, as a matter of fact I have more expensive chairs in my kitchen that I constantly have to re tighten. These stay tight even with out thread lock on the bolt threads, I must say I am actually impressed with these stools and I am very happy I bought them. They fit perfectly at my 68 inch long bar and they are the perfect height. I have a smaller kitchen as well as house and these alow me to add more seating then I would with two stools and they really do not take up any more space. They look great in my kitchen and they match. I just remolded and they look like the more expensive bar stools. The only negative I would give it is with the upholstery, it is a cheap micro fiber but looks like nylon. It does not look very durable and the surface will absorb and is not the easiest to get the stains out. I am going to buy a piece of vinyl upholstery from ebay for about 12 bucks to do all three and just upholster over top of it. That will really make it look nice. Other than that I am completely happy.
