I really like this ice maker. So far, I'm the only one using it and it makes right enough for just me. Does take a while to make but you have to figure it is a small unit and the mortor is small so don't expect it to work like an industrial ice maker. But like I said I am the only one using it and only made ice once and for just me I've made a gallon freezer bag of ice and has lasted me now 3 days. It isn't noisy. In fact, quite compare to another one I had. Not sure how long it will last hopefully a long time. I am satisfied for my needs.

my only complaint is the water reservoir is very small, so have to refill often. But if you have limited space, this doesn't take up too much room. the ice nuggets are very small, similar to Sonic ice. my machine has been working very well, no problems.

My partner has an ice addition and was buying cups of ice daily. I knew this would be an excellent gift. It is absolutely amazing. We bought an ice bucket to place in the freezer or you can use a freezer bag. Because the ice is wet you may need to get an ice pick to break it up , otherwise it's a great buy.
