The first thing I noticed when I received the dress was that it was well packaged in a plastic bag and it was obviously brand new with tag attached. I took it out of the package and laid it out and it's kind of like a bathrobe style where it's open and then you wrap it around yourself to wear it. I washed it first in my front loading machine in a garment bag on a gentle cycle, then I hung it up to dry. It dried surprisingly quickly, and the fabric feels really lightweight and soft and perfect for summertime. When I put it on, it was so comfortable I didn't wanna take it off. I really liked the custom fit thanks to the wraparound waist ties, so even though I got a medium (as that was my size according to the size chart) I'm sure I could be bigger or smaller and still wear the same size because of how adjustable it is. The spaghetti straps are also adjustable for a truly custom fit. It's so flattering and comfortable. It's going to be my new favorite summertime dress! The green is like a faded pea soup color—it's very light and subtle with olive tones. It's actually more flattering on my brown skin than I was expecting. Hope this review was helpful.

This dress is cute and is a.light breezy material but is not see through. I did get the navy one and it is a nice shade. The fit is customizable based on placement and tightness of straps. It lands couple of inches below my knees, and I am 5'5" for reference. The straps are thin and it is low at the chest. I would personally pair this with a light cardigan when going out, but this dress is so light and comfortable I will probably wear it as is around the house during this hot weather.
