There is no feeling of this being a steel toe shoe, amazing. Back in the factory days I opted for a pair of steel toe tennies over boot, at over $100 which was a lot to us grunts. They were so unbearable I had to buy my own boots to replace them, blister city! I have these on and am walking around inside just to see if there is some catch, nope,they are excellent and hold your foot firmly but feel light as literally a walking shoe. Not to mention they are cool looking too! The writing as quick glance looks like a stripe. Very impressed. Never liked black shoes until these. Toss in some inlays to break em in and you have yourself a great pair of work shoes, every day shoes, or protection for those pesky muggers out on your walk! Who would ever know, they'll never know you are packin' steel!

Definitely a must for those who work in a job that requires steel toe and traction. The gut is perfect, they are very comfortable.
