The fabric is a little weird, kind of like a curtain or bedding linen, not something I've ever had for pants, so it makes these pants kind of stiff and inflexible. The size runs small and the fit is strange. Not a lot of give in the thigh and butt area. The crotch hangs a little low. I gave it 4 stars because I like the length and that was a huge deal to me. As a short person its hard for me to find capris that actually look like capris on me because most capris are fitted for tall athletic builds. For me as a 5'2" person with a serious pear-shaped figure (I wear a SM-M top and L, XL, or 1X depending on the brand bottom), the hem of the capris usually end at like 3, maybe 4 inches above my ankle and they don't fit well in the butt and thigh area. These didn't provide a lot of stretch in the butt and thigh area for me probably because of the material used, which makes sitting in them feel a little weird, not necessarily uncomfortable but just a weird fit. They still fit loose, but if I'm sitting the fabric is taut against my butt and thighs, and the crotch hanging down also makes sitting in these feel weird. But the length comes to just below my knee which is awesome. The waistband for me is a bit large, too, but that's a common problem posed by my pear-shaped figure. It's really hard for me to find pants that work. These were the closest. I would recommend them, but I just wanted to be really specific with what worked for me and what didn't.
