The color is a beautiful brown. which goes well with light colors like beidge in your kitchen .There is no smell from the garbage and it holds alot you must think why did she buy two. I thought I could find a better one, and yes it was pricey. I had to end up throwing out the new garbage can and going back to this one. I am satisfied.

This can is great in color and style for our kitchen. The only drawback is that the lock on the lid is a two-hand job. Our old can, you could lock and unlock with one hand. This one is really stiff. I'm hoping with enough use it will be a little easier. Although, a good lock is better than a bad lock.
