Key item features

  • 【High - Temperature Resistance】The silicone mixing spoon is engineered with exceptional heat - resistant properties, making it a reliable tool for various cooking and baking tasks. Made from food - grade silicone, it can withstand high temperatures without melting, warping, or releasing harmful chemicals into food. Whether it's stirring hot soups, sauces simmering on the stovetop, or folding ingredients into a warm batter, this spoon remains stable and functional. It can safely be used in temperatures ranging from extremely cold (for tasks like mixing chilled ingredients) to very hot environments, such as directly in pots and pans on the stove or in the oven for short periods (if the handle is also heat - resistant). This wide temperature tolerance ensures that the spoon can be used throughout the entire cooking process, from preparation to serving.
  • 【Non - Stick and Easy - to - Clean Surface】One of the most notable features of the silicone mixing spoon is its non - stick surface. Silicone's smooth texture prevents ingredients from clinging to the spoon, allowing for effortless mixing, scraping, and stirring. This non - stick quality is especially beneficial when working with sticky substances like honey, molasses, or melted chocolate, as well as thick batters and doughs. After use, cleaning the spoon is a breeze. Food residues slide off easily under running water, and it can be quickly washed with mild soap. For more thorough cleaning, it is dishwasher - safe, saving time and effort in the kitchen. The non - stick surface also ensures that no food is wasted, as every bit of ingredient can be efficiently scraped off the spoon and into the dish.
  • 【Versatile Functionality】This silicone spoon is a multi - purpose kitchen utensil suitable for a wide array of cooking, baking, serving, and stirring tasks. Its shape, with a rounded bowl and a slightly angled handle, is designed for optimal mixing and scooping. In baking, it can be used to cream butter and sugar, fold in dry ingredients, or stir batters to the perfect consistency. For cooking, it's ideal for sautéing vegetables, stirring sauces, and serving dishes directly from the pot or pan. The flexibility of the silicone material allows it to reach into the corners of bowls and jars, ensuring that no ingredient is left behind. Its versatility makes it a must - have tool in any kitchen, reducing the need for multiple specialized utensils.
  • 【Food - Grade and Safe Material】Crafted from high - quality, food - grade silicone, this mixing spoon is completely safe for use with food. It is free from harmful substances such as BPA, phthalates, and lead, providing peace of mind for those who are health - conscious. The material is also odor - resistant and stain - resistant, meaning it won't absorb the smells or colors of strong - flavored or brightly - colored ingredients. This ensures that the spoon maintains its integrity and cleanliness over time, even after repeated use with various types of food. The safety and durability of the food - grade silicone make it suitable for use in households with strict dietary requirements and for preparing food for all members of the household.
  • 【Ergonomic Design for Comfort】The design of the silicone mixing spoon takes into account user comfort during extended use. The handle is ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably in the hand, providing a secure grip even when hands are wet or greasy. The length of the handle is optimized to allow for easy maneuvering in pots, pans, and bowls of different sizes. The flexibility of the spoon's head combined with the sturdy handle creates a perfect balance, reducing hand fatigue and strain while stirring or mixing. This ergonomic design makes the spoon suitable for both professional chefs who spend long hours in the kitchen and home cooks who want a comfortable and efficient cooking experience.

Not as described

I ordered this bc I wanted a specific size. Although described as 10-7/8” long, what arrived was 8” and not suitable for me. Seemed of reasonable quality otherwise, at least from what I could tell without opening the wrapper.
