My son assembled this in a matter of minutes. It fits nicely in the doorway of the room I do not want my cats to enter. The cats have sniffed the gate and peered thru it to look the room over….probably looking for a way in, but there's no chance of them squeezing thru the bars.

I purchased this gate to keep my cats from roaming the house at night and so far it has done what it's supposed to do. Keeping them on the other side of the gate. Instructions were not very clear and assembly was a little confusing but eventually, we figured it out. as for sturdiness, the top comes with pre-drilled holes and screw's and the bottom is supposed to stay in place with tension, however that didn't work, whenever you open one of the gates, the bottom footing would slide therefore we had to drill holes and add screws to the bottom as well now it is very strong %26 it's not going anywhere. With a few tweaks, it turned out to be a good purchase. Also has a sleek look I would definitely recommend.
